What is TAKT?

TAKT is the work of Producer/Director Craig Bush, a specialist in creating video based content that has a focus on arts and culture.

TAKT is the formalisation of Craig’s depth of experience in producing video that reflects an understanding organisations’ unique requirements, artistic scope and what their audiences enjoy.

TAKT has been responsible for the creation of:

  • Show recording and trailer creation

  • Event documentation

  • Documentaries

  • Screen visuals

  • Commissioned original artistic videos

As TAKT, Craig works both directly with organisations and partnering with agencies and production companies. He has developed projects as the creative lead, producing original works and creative concepts, as well as working with artists to transfer their projects onto the screen.

Predominately working as a director and producer, Craig also has well rounded skills in all areas of production, from camera operating to editing.

About Craig

A love of arts and culture has always been at the centre of Craig’s work. Since Graduating in 2007 with a BA Theatre Studies from Lancaster University, Craig has worked as a professional in video production. He has used his understanding of the cultural sectors to the benefit of his clients and developed a reputation for his knowledge of the requirements of cultural organisations and working with artists.

Craig has worked as a consultant and trainer, being hired by the BBC Academy to be a lecturer on shortform content, and working with The Space to train staff and consultant on content development with organisations such as The National Portrait Gallery, Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust and BBC New Creatives.
